Starbase Easy Build mode updates and improved explosions are advertised in the latest patch notes.

MMOBEEP found out that Starbase has published their newest patch notes for a development comprising working on particle effects and electrical effects, and that incorporates explosions rolling off of ships that have been damaged. 

You can see it in motion in the video embedded down below. Other development pieces have been made exceeding just art. However, the developers are proceeding to work on the StarBase Easy Build mode in various capacities, including for moon base building, while changing how it works for stations.
