MMOBEEP wants everybody to get ready because Phantasy Star Online 2 will present soon how it will make their game even more pretty the following year. At a Tokyo game Show this week, SEGA gave a sneak peek of gameplay from the New Genesis update.
New Genesis is not merely going to be an aesthetic overhaul. SEGA is transforming PSO2 into being more of an MMO with “open area” environments that aren’t instanced as they’re now in the game while likewise including a day/night cycle, climate, and a lot more.
The revamp is planned for 2021 and will run parallel to the current iteration of Phantasy Star Online 2. Players will be able to use their old characters in both versions of the game when it launches.
