Outriders latest patch introduces new fixes and balances while lost items issues are still not returned to the players.
MMOBEEP found out that Outriders has recently been pretty well-received as a standalone single-player looter-shooter, which is a lovely welcome in the era of constant live-service games. Still, it has been tormented by some severe bugs and some server problems. A vital patch has just recently been released, fixing a broad spectrum of bugs reported just before and since its release and rebalancing for a few things.
The Developers at People Can Fly have stated that Outriders latest patch will not recover the lost gears/items and characters from a recent bug. Restoration has grown to become quite complicated, as items are assessed using the character level, World Tier, etc. The recovery is still in progress, a community gratitude package coming with this patch.
The significant highlights of the patch, however, are pretty large. AI Snipers got nerfed the same as the amount of knockback from the enemies in the Stargrave expedition. A few bugs concerning mods have also been dealt with. PC players had a bug where old crash dumps didn’t get deleted been fixed in this patch, so your Outriders folder won’t get bigger anymore. You can now also change your FOV to 130 and use keys from the Insert and Print Screen block as key bindings.
