Old School RuneScape Revamps Wilderness Bosses and Dicusses The Record Breaking Skill Vote.

MMOBEEP found out that Old School RuneScape has progressed with the last community vote to go along with the first new ability to the game in 15 years. There is also some brand-new info on the Wilderness Boss revamp, which was added yesterday.

When it comes to bringing new skills to a game like old-school runescape, the community has to be a part of the process. The first portion of this multi-part process started last month in December when over 190,000 players voted with an 80% approval rating to go along with creating a brand-new ability.

Presently, and through January 31st, the community will have an Application to fill in on what sorts of skills players want to see the most. Next month, we’ll see some sneak peeks of the Types of skills that could be feasible, and then another poll phase will begin. Eventually, we can predict this brand-new skill to join a beta cycle in Old School RuneScape later this year.

Talking about community feedback and impact, the Wilderness Boss Revamp is here. This process took several months, and the patch is a whole series of modifications consisting of visual and mechanical changes to three bosses, Venenatis, Vet’ion, and Callisto. These bosses also tied their brand-new locations, each having an entry to and from the Escape Caves. There are also some soloable bosses, brand-new locations, and weapons. These weapons can be created using Resources that the new reworked bosses drop.

The Wilderness is planned to be difficult because other players can attack you freely. Of course, there are chances for PvP prevention, but in general, this is planned to be Difficult on the boss front and the other player front.

The update also adds improved drop rates of revenant weapons from Revenant NPCs, comprising a special bonus when you kill them on a Wilderness Slayer task, incorporating that into these changes.

Take a look at the full patch notes at Old School RuneScape.
