ESO Greymoor Console Release Was Postponed to June 10 Out of Consideration for George Floyd’s Funeral

The console release of Greymoor, the latest chapter of Elder Scrolls Online, has actually been postponed for one day until June 10 out of consideration for the funeral of George Floyd.

This information was announced in a post with the dev team announcing the following:

“We are delaying the PlayStation®4 and Xbox One launch of Greymoor out of respect for George Floyd and the service planned in Houston for June 9. We feel it would not be right for us to celebrate our launch and distract from more important events on that day.”

Maintenance is set up for June 9 at 10pm ET. The team anticipates this maintenance to last for 7 hours, and patch notes will be released soon as well. This delay coincides with other delays and also postponements across the industry, Blizzard postponed a World of Warcraft Shadowlands event, Sony postponed a PS5 occasion, the PC Gaming Show also being delayed, as well as a lot more.
