Dual Universe Prepares To Remove Stacked Construct Elements While Announcing More Lua Changes.
MMOBEEP found that players of Dual Universe have been placing construct elements on each other. This exploit is currently the main thing that the devs at Novaquark are working on to fix in future updates. Still, while we wait, the devs have added a new mechanic in the Demeter update that will alert players who are building piled elements to the exploit.
This function will allow players accessibility to a record of construct elements, with overlying items being emphasized by a red triangle to assist players in knowing what to displace. This brand new alert UI is a provisional step until the devs make an automated process that will be added in a future update to disable piled or overlying constructs automatically.
In other DU news, the devs have posted the last two dev blogs regarding updates to the Lua programming language, describing brand new features like radar API updates, transponder API extensions, and a table of player inquired mechanics, amongst other things.
