Destiny 2 introduces a new exotic rifle Ager’s Scepter, tweaks to Trials of Osiris, and a calendar of upcoming events.

This week’s newsletter has gotten more info about Destiny 2, starting with the newly added quest for the brand new Ager’s Scepter exotic, a Stasis trace rifle complete with icy characteristics. The weapon is currently available to obtain, while its catalyst will be launched after reset tomorrow.

The newsletter then goes on to following updates and events appearing throughout the rest of Season of the Lost, with the Halloween-themed Festival of the Lost and Grandmaster Nightfalls scheduled to October till November, and the Season of Triumph, the Dawning holiday, and events to commemorate Bungie’s 30th anniversary coming within December and February.

The final important thing of note is that another wave of modifications is coming to the Trials of Osiris, comprising an impeccable matchmaking pool and will help players facing multiple losses in a row. The post also unveils some data from the re-appearance of the Trials, recording 750K players have played the Trials, making up a proportion of 30% of active players.
