CD Projekt Red promises to defend itself fiercely in Cyberpunk 2077 consumer lawsuits.
MMOBEEP had learned that CD Projekt Red, the publisher/developer of Cyberpunk 2077, published a statement that ultimately has the company cracking its knuckles and preparing for any legal challenges aka Cyberpunk 2077 consumer lawsuits.
A regulatory announcement proclaimed on December 25th remarks on a class-action lawsuit filed by investors on December 24th that claimed the studio had made multiple charges of misleading the playability of Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 and Xbox One. Resulting in the investors experiencing fiscal harm from tanking share prices due to the game’s horrible release on those platforms. CDPR has said that the company
“will undertake vigorous action to defend itself against any such claims.”
While The Rosen Law Firm’s filing likely ticks off the announcement, they are not the only law firm the company could be facing, as investors in Warsaw, Poland, are considering a class action of their own. Another law firm in the US, Schall Law Firm, has called other investors to join another class-action suit.
